What is Wonder Money?
Wonder Money is a personal finance app that helps you take control of your finances.
Mission
Our mission is to help people make better financial decisions. We believe that everyone should have access to the tools and information they need to make smart financial decisions. We also believe that financial literacy should be taught in schools.
Why is Wonder Money different?
Wonder Money is different because it's built by people who have been in your shoes. We've been there, we've made mistakes, and we've learned from them. We've also been fortunate enough to have access to the right tools and information to help us make better financial decisions.
We're of the opinion that everyone should have a concrete plan for their personal finances, whether it's done in an Excel, by a dedicated manager or through an app like WonderMoney.
We built WonderMoney because we didn't like any of the options on the market. Here are our main reasons why:
- Most apps are free, meaning the user would be the product. We don't like to see our personal information (particularly financial information) sold, so we're building a more privacy-focused solution;
- Most apps are focused on day-to-day management with budgets. While that part is essential, we believe that medium and long term planning is equally critical - hence, also an important focus of the app.
It is vital to understand that while there are plans to produce content on the topic of financial management, it is not the aim of the app to offer management advice and strategy - it should be seen as a support tool.
